If you and your family prefer not to be disturbed during your trip, up to 5 passengers can occupy a single cabin. Seats can be readily turned into comfy reclining surfaces. Your service team will be glad to be of assistance.

Couchette cabins contain up to 6 comfortable berths. However, a maximum of 4 or optionally 5 fare-paying passengers occupy a single cabin on most services when accommodation is booked individually. During day, berths turn into comfortable seats. Children under the age of 6 travel free as long as they do not require a seat or berth of their own.

Holiday comfort from the world ‘go’: Classic line sleepers

Sleep tight! If you wish to freshen up a little before turning in, there are washing facilities in your cabin. A modern toilet and shower are available on each sleeper car.

During the day, beds turn into seats. For privacy’s sake you can only book complete cabins accommodating up to 3 persons on sleeper cars. It’s even more convenient to book a spacious twin cabin for up to 6 persons.

Sleeper car passengers receive a breakfast in the morning that is included in their fare. Should you desire any snacks or beverages, our service team will bring them into your cabin if so requested.

Mobility impaired passengers

Almost all trains run acouchette car with a wheelchair-accessible cabin and a toilet located directly adjacent. This cabin can be booked for a passenger and their companion for the price of a single berth. Coaches are generally designed to accept folding wheelchairs.

Last-minute offers are now available for summer holidaymakers to save hard cash. For bookings made six days before the journey, we grant a 25 per cent discount on the standard fare. This means that a single trip for two passengers in a couchette coach from Ancona to Munich – over 770 kilometres away – can be booked for as little as EUR 152, inclusive of car transport and breakfast.
